Mountaineer will hold an information and registration meeting on July 5th, 2007 for their employees who want to be casino dealers. The racing track will also hold job fairs on July 9th and 10th.

The Mountaineer Racing Track and Gaming Resort has finished their casino table games plan and is now implementing those plans.

On July 5th, 2007, the Mountaineer Racetrack will hold an information and registration meeting for their current staff who are interested in becoming a casino dealer.

The interesting thing about this is that the employees do not have to pay to pursue their dream; the Mountaineer Racetrack is paying their tuition for the dealer classes.

The employees also won’t have to go to the college campus, the casino dealer classes will come to them. For the prospective dealers taking just one casino game specialty, such as becoming a blackjack dealer, the classes will take six weeks to be completed.

It will take 12 weeks to learn all of the casino table games. On July 9th, 2007 and July 10th, 2007, Mountaineer Racetrack will hold another job fair for the public.

There will be 442 casino dealers’ jobs and 258 other jobs like in accounting, internal audit, hotel operations, human resources, casino surveillance and security.

The Mountaineer Racetrack will eventually feature 90 tables with casino games like poker, craps, roulette and blackjack. The college dealer classes will start next week and the poker games will be offered in one month.

People who are not currently an employee of Mountaineer may also avail the help of the racing track for the casino dealer courses.

Like if they have been removed from their jobs from the steel mill, they could qualify for the tuition fee help for the dislocated employees re-training fund.
